Maiden Statue RE2 Claire 2nd Run Location And How To Solve The Puzzle

Navigating the terrifying halls of the Raccoon City Police Department during Claire Redfield's 2nd Run in Resident Evil 2 presents fresh challenges for veteran players. Among the critical tasks required to escape the station is retrieving the Maiden Medallion from its hidden chamber. Understanding where to go and how to decipher the altered puzzle mechanics is key to surviving this intense scenario.
Locating the Maiden Statue in Claire's 2nd Run
The Maiden Statue is situated on the third floor of the police station inside the West Storage Room. To reach this area, players must navigate up to 3F and approach the barricaded gate near the library. Accessing the statue requires detonating the explosive barricade using the electronic detonator assembly.
Preparing the detonator involves combining the electronic gadget found in the Operations Room with the battery located in the S.T.A.R.S. Office. Once planted on the C4 explosive, step back to avoid damage from the blast before entering the newly opened room. Be prepared for immediate threats, as the noise can attract roaming enemies inside the facility.
How to Solve the 2nd Run Maiden Statue Puzzle
Unlike the standard scenario, the dial combination for the Maiden Statue changes completely during the B scenario. Players will notice that the dials on the statue are heavily damaged and grimy, making the symbols difficult to read. The correct code combination required to unlock the medallion is Ram, Harp, and Bird.
To align the dials accurately despite the damage, look closely at the remaining intact visual cues on each ring. Rotate the first dial to the Ram symbol, the middle dial to the Harp, and the final dial to the Bird symbol. Entering this sequence correctly releases the Maiden Medallion into your inventory.
Surviving the Room After Unlocking the Medallion
Obtaining the Maiden Medallion triggers environmental changes that increase the danger level inside the West Storage Room. A fallen locker blocks your main exit path, requiring quick action to push it aside while avoiding nearby threats. Remaining calm and decisive ensures you do not get cornered in the cramped space.
It is highly recommended to equip a defensive item or firearm before interacting with the statue. Once the path is clear, retreat through the library back down to the Main Hall to safely store your prize. Inserting all three medallions into the Goddess Statue will finally unlock the underground escape route.
